In the competitive marketplace an individual has to excel in the role of an innovator and thought leader to be effective in “thinking within the box” or “thinking within the existing constraints of the system”. True innovators have consciously developed their skills in the following areas

  • System Thinking or the ability to see the cause-and-effect linkages between useful and harmful characteristics or functions in a given situation. Some of the tools and concepts on System thinking included in this program are RCA+ (Root-Conflict analysis), Multi-screen thinking, Objective Trends of Evolution.
  • Ability to envision the Ideal or Perfect scenario. Some of the tools and concepts on envisioning Ideal scenario included in this program are Ideal Final Result (IFR), Ideality, Heurithm for development of imagination, Modeling with Miniature Dwarfs (MMD).
  • Ability to articulate and resolve Contradictions or Pardoxes or Dilemmas. Some of the tools and concepts on resolving Contradiction included in this program are Formulating the Inventive Problem (IP), ENV model, Contradiction Matrix, Principles for resolving Contradiction.
  • Ability to see and exploit readily available Resources. Some of the tools and concepts on Resource thinking included in this program are Method of Focal Objects, Morphological Analysis, Size-Time-Cost (STC), Robinson Crusoe Technique, Fantogramme, Resource Identification Algorithm, Algorithm for application of Universal Operators.
  • Generating strong solutions that remove Complexity in the way work gets done. Some of the tools and concepts that help remove Complexity are Evaluation of Solutions on Ideality, Resolution of Secondary Problems.
